3.1 Fake or Fraudulent Reviews

  • Soliciting reviews from individuals who are not genuine customers
  • Paying or incentivizing people to leave positive reviews (in violation of platform policies)
  • Generating reviews for fictitious transactions or services
  • Posting reviews on behalf of others without their explicit permission

3.2 Manipulation and Deception

  • Using the service to manipulate business ratings or rankings deceptively
  • Creating fake customer identities or personas
  • Posting negative reviews about competitors (review sabotage or "astroturfing")
  • Misrepresenting your relationship with a business when leaving reviews
  • Using automated systems or bots to generate or post reviews at scale

3.3 Violation of Platform Policies

  • Violating the terms of service of review platforms (Google, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor, etc.)
  • Circumventing anti-spam or anti-abuse measures on third-party platforms
  • Engaging in "review gating" (selectively soliciting positive reviews while suppressing negative ones)
  • Using the service in ways that violate FTC guidelines or consumer protection laws

3.4 Illegal or Harmful Activities

  • Using the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
  • Harassing, threatening, or intimidating individuals or businesses
  • Posting content that is defamatory, libelous, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights or violating privacy rights
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or other malicious code through our platform

3.5 System Abuse

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfering with or disrupting the service or servers connected to the service
  • Scraping, crawling, or using automated tools to extract data from our platform without permission
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the service
  • Excessive use that degrades service performance for other users

4. Compliance with Review Platform Policies

When using ReviewGen.AI to manage reviews across different platforms, you must comply with each platform's specific policies:

5. Content Guidelines

When using our review generation features, ensure that all content:

  • Reflects genuine customer experiences and opinions
  • Is based on actual transactions or interactions with your business
  • Does not contain false, misleading, or deceptive statements
  • Complies with advertising standards and truth-in-advertising laws
  • Respects intellectual property and does not plagiarize content
  • Is appropriate for all audiences (no explicit or offensive content)

6. Account Security and Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Ensuring that anyone accessing your account complies with this AUP

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this AUP, please report them to us immediately:

  • Do not make claims that would be deceptive if made directly by the advertiser

10. Our Rights and Obligations

ReviewGen.AI reserves the right to:

  • Monitor use of our services for compliance with this AUP (though we are not obligated to do so)
  • Investigate suspected violations and request additional information
  • Remove or disable access to content that violates this AUP or our Terms of Service
  • Cooperate with law enforcement and comply with legal requests
  • Update this AUP at any time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements

11. No Liability for User Actions

ReviewGen.AI is not responsible for how users choose to use our services. You acknowledge that:

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and policies
  • ReviewGen.AI is not liable for any consequences resulting from your violation of third-party platform policies
  • We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content
  • You indemnify ReviewGen.AI against claims arising from your misuse of the service

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting, with the updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
