Review links and QR codes
One review link and QR code for every way you ask
A review link is a short web address that takes a customer to a page where they can review your business, and a QR code is that link for a phone camera. A ReviewGen link opens your review page first. The customer rates the visit, answers a few questions, picks a draft and posts it on Google or another site.

Key takeaways
- Your main review link is on Home, at reviewgen.ai/r/, with a QR code you can download as a print-ready PNG. Every other link and its QR code is under Review links in the editor.
- Use the same link at the counter, on receipts, in texts and in emails. Every channel lands on the same page.
- Links and QR codes are unlimited on every plan, including the free trial.
- You can point a link at a different review page later, and anything you already printed keeps working.
- The link opens in any phone browser. Customers don't need an app or an account.
How to set up and share your review link
Connect your review site
Paste the link to your review page on Google, Yelp or another site. Customers go there after they pick a draft.
Copy your link
It's on Home under "Your review link". Tap Copy.
Download a QR code
Tap "QR code", pick a design and a size, and download a PNG ready to print.
Text or email it
Tap "Text or email" for a message you can copy. Add the customer's first name and send it from your own phone or inbox.
Check your results
Results shows how many people opened the link, got a draft and went on to your review site.
Why use a ReviewGen link instead of your Google review URL?
Google gives every business a free review URL, and it works. It opens the review box straight away, so the customer starts from a blank page and you can't tell who opened it.
A ReviewGen link opens your review page first. The customer taps a star rating, answers your questions and gets drafts written from their answers before they reach Google. You also see how many people opened the link and how far they got. You still need your Google review URL to connect your review site, and our Google review link guide shows where to find it.
What can you do with the QR code?
Tap "QR code" next to your link to open the designer. Pick one of three designs: Business Card for table tents and flyers, Minimalist for a clean split layout, or Premium Branded for a fuller design with more of your details. You can edit the text on the design, including the "Scan to Leave a Review" line.
Sizes run from a 2-inch sticker to an 18 x 24 inch poster, exported at 300 DPI so the code stays sharp in print. There are also sizes for an Instagram post or story and a Facebook post. The download is a PNG you can send to any printer.
Put the code where customers wait or pay: the counter, the table, the receipt, the invoice, the takeaway bag. Our guide to QR code review posters covers placement and print sizes.
Your review link
One link and QR code for every customer, after every visit.
Share it your way
Where should you share your review link?
Ask every customer the same way, happy or not, and ask soon after the visit while it's fresh.
- At the counter or table. A printed QR code plus a quick "Would you mind leaving us a review?" works for walk-in businesses.
- By text. Send it the same day. ReviewGen fills in your business name and link, and you add the customer's first name.
- By email. Add it to your thank-you or follow-up email. The same ready-made message works there.
- On receipts and invoices. Print the QR code or the short link where customers already look.
- In your social bio or website. One link covers everyone, so you can leave it up.
Never offer a discount, entry or gift in return for a review. For wording that works in person, see how to ask customers for reviews.

Can you use more than one review link?
Yes. Each business can have as many links as you like. Add a new link for a second location, a campaign or a different way of asking, and name it so you can tell them apart. Customers never see the name. Every link is listed under Review links in the review page editor, with buttons to copy its address or download its QR code.
Each link opens one review page, and each review page sends customers to one review site. To collect reviews on Yelp as well as Google, add a second review page for Yelp and give it its own link. You can also move a link to a different review page later. The address stays the same, so printed QR codes keep working. Our guide to using multiple review links has ideas for campaigns.
What review links and QR codes don't do
- ReviewGen doesn't send texts or emails for you. It gives you the message to copy, and you send it yourself.
- Every customer who opens the link sees the same page. There's no star threshold and no separate path for low ratings.
- The customer posts on the review site from their own account. ReviewGen never posts for anyone.
- Results show what each visit did and when. They don't show who the customer is.
